I’ve purchased every A.T. Guidebook there is, and I’ve read every one of them. Cover to cover and back again. I reference them when I’m talking about the A.T. just so I can say “here…that’s what I mean”. The following are a list of the maps & books I have spent most of my time with. They may or may not help you in your planning, but they are fun! I will be carrying maps and Wingfoot’s Thru-hiker Handbook while Antonio will be carrying the ALDHA Companion. Between us, we should have enough information to find our way from Springer to Katahdin. I hope. (Yes, I’m kidding)
