are the items that I chose to take with me on my AT Thru-hike. I was fortunate
that my shakedown for this hike was basically 2+ months on the A.T., so gear
never came into question. Sure, I made some modifications but overall, I
carried what worked on the A.T. I was lucky that I made some smart decisions
from the get-go and have been able to make minor adjustments over the miles. My
pack rarely saw over 28 pounds, unless those treacherous town stops and going
to the grocery store to resupply before eating anything really got me.
