~*~ Favorite Photos ~*~

A more complete diary of my photos can be viewed at my Webshots site. Below are links to some of my favorite shots. I have tried to categorize them appropriately for two reasons. 1) If I had them all on one page, it would take approximately 13 years for the page to load properly and 2) its just easier this way. These photos are not professional quality at all; they just mean something to me for whatever reason. Occasionally, I have uploaded a picture taken by someone else, in which case I have given credit for the photo. Enjoy!

Wildlife ~ or lack thereof.

Mountains ~ sometimes it’s the view that drives us.

Water ~ I had a brief fixation with ice & water.

Pets ~ featuring Hamlet & Ophelia with special appearances by numerous others.

Trailhead Signs ~ always taking pictures of signs! Usually to help with time lines when I look at the photos later.

Blazes, baby! Blazes! ~ don’t know why I take pictures of blazes…but I do. On virtually every dang trail I hike. Obsess, much?

Action Shots ~ those candid times when you catch someone in the process of doing…well, something.

Tents ~ tents make great subjects. Looking in them or out of them, some of my favorites are in this category. They frame photos nicely.

Shoes & Views ~ the token boot shot is always a favorite.

Sun & Moon ~ whether setting or rising, they make for some beautiful views.

Good for a Laugh ~ cartoons & funny pictures that have given me a chuckle a time or two.
