Other reflections:

We spent a lot of time in Kalispell just driving around to places like Whitefish, Columbia Falls, Hungry Horse, and more. I was able to see a lot of Flathead County and realize what a stark difference there is between MT and NJ. Awhile ago, Brad had commented that he would leave Kalispell for me. After being there and experiencing not only Kalispell, but Glacier National Park, I’m more taken by that statement. I would not leave that place for me!!! You’d have to be nuts.

One of my favorite parts of the week was just spending down time at home with Brad. All of our time together has been on the go running from one place to the next and hiking all over the place. Having a sense of normalcy and day to day regular life was a welcome change of pace which I completely enjoyed. Hanging out in the kitchen, cooking clam dip and scones and spending time together was just as much fun as trekking through Floral Park. It was a side of each other that we haven’t had a chance to see and it was really nice. I was able to meet so many of the people that he has talked about,  I met Jason (his roommate) to discover we won’t have a problem getting along (as long as I start mowing the lawn), and seeing what “real life” will be like. It was important to me to be able to do these things and experience a taste of life in Kalispell ~ and now I am more certain than ever that life will only get better and better.

Brad took me to Lone Pine State Park, where we were able to walk up to a rocky outcrop and get a view of Flathead County, almost in its entirety. I loved that he wanted me to be able to see and experience as much as possible and is making this big transition for me all the more easy. If you haven’t been paying attention, or you haven’t figured it out (perhaps you are a little slow?)…I will be moving to Kalispell in the very near future. I am incredibly excited and any nerves I had prior to visiting MT are now gone. I love it there, I love the town, the people, the porn and the lifestyle.
